Constitutional monarchy

Constitutional monarchy is a political system that recognizes an elected or hereditary monarch as head of state; however, the sovereign in the constitutional monarchy has no absolute power. Its power is controlled by the parliament (Legislative power) and limited by the Constitution, which establishes the rights and duties of the king or queen.
